Das ist wohl mehr oder weniger eine Grauzone. Apple schreibt in der Lizenzvereinbarung für Mac OS X zwar vor, dass die Software nur auf Apple-Hardware installiert werden darf. Da diese Bedingung vor dem Kauf für den Benutzer aber nicht ersichtlich ist, sind da wohl einige Leute der Meinung, dass dies in Deutschland somit keine Gültigkeit hat. Auf dieser Grundlage wird bspw. der PearC, ein PC mit OS X, angeboten. Ist halt die Frage, wer im Zweifel - also wenn zu einem Rechtsstreit kommt - den längeren Atem hat: Otto Normaluser oder Apple?

Und dann kommt ja noch hinzu, dass es nicht genügt, eine VM mit OS X aufzusetzen und zur Verfügung zu stellen. Derjenige, der die VM dann nutzt, braucht natürlich selbst eine OS-X-Lizenz.
